March/April 08

Here's a few pics of family in Tennessee and Florida. We made a trip to TN in March because Jeff's brother-in-law Bernie passed away from lung cancer. He gave a courageous fight and is missed a lot. There's a picture of Bernie and Jeff that was taken last summer before his diagnosis. The picture's of the baby are his grandson Christian who he was able to meet before his passing. Christain is the light of his Grandma's eyes right now. Also a few pic's of Butch and Bo and their cousin Makayla.

Jeff had a business trip to FL so Jill went along for a mini vacation. We got to visit with Becky because she was only about 1/2 hour away.

Also there's a picture of Gram (Jeff's mom) in her new assisted living home. She really likes it there and it works out best for everyone right now.

Snow in Texas

Yes, we got snow in Texas on Thursday. This is the most we've gotten since we've moved here. About 4" fell and we had fun in it. Just thought I'd send a few pics to show you all the snow!!! On the news they called this a winter storm warning. Pretty funny after moving here from the Boston area where we'd see about 28" as a winter storm. Our snowman was doing the limbo the next day and fell over shortly after taking that picture. The snow went away as fast as it came but we enjoyed it. Now we're ready for spring!

Becky flew back in Jan for a friend's Wedding.

Bo played basketball for his middle school. They did well and missed the playoffs because of a 3 way tie and a coin toss. Yes, they we're the team that lost the toss. Very sad...but now he's running track for school and playing Spring football in a league he played for a few years ago. He's got alot of friends on his team. There will be pics to come.

This little baby was Bo's for 3 days and 2 nights. It was a health class project in school. Bo named him Brian. The project is called reality works and boy did it work. Brian has a computer in him and Bo had to wear a sensor bracelet that only he could deactivate when Brian cryed. Boy did Brian cry. He had Bo up a few times during the night and even had to feed him at football practice one night. Bo was a good dad but will be happy to wait 15-20 years before he has children. Gram was happy to hold her great-grandson.

Our house got T.P'd one night by Bo's friends. He gladly cleaned it up the next morning.

December 07

Part of the traditional Polish Christmas Eve Dinner is the sharing of blessed Christmas wafer (kind of like communion bread for you Catholics).

This is Becky at DINFOS (Defense Information School) in Maryland.

She got her badge...she's officially a Public Affairs Officer now!

Becky took a train to NY City with some friends and had a great time.

Bo and his friends dressed up like nerds for Halloween.

Butch had a little bit of fun and dressed like a old time PE coach. He stayed in character all night blowing his whistle and telling the little kids to stay in shape and not to eat too much candy. He was quite funny!

The dogs even got dressed up. Chipper put his skunk costume on and Mickey was a little devil, which fits him perfect!

September 2007

September started...which means FOOTBALL! Bo loves playing and made the "A" team again this year. He wore # 1 and played wide receiver and cornerback. They have awesome uniforms this year. Here's a few pics of him. One running the ball and the other with some of his friends.

Jeff celebrated his B-day in September...44 years young!

First time since he left home at the age of 19 that he got to celebrate with his mom.

Here's an update of the last few months. We've been busy...sorry for the long wait.

In August my sister Dana, Steve and Nikolaus came to visit...it was great seeing them all. Bo and Butch got to meet their cousin for the 1st time. We went to the Stockyards in Ft. Worth and Nikolaus and his mom got to sit on a longhorn! Butch had a little fun too!
