Connecticut Summer 2010

Bo and I went to Connecticut to visit family and friends this summer. It was a really nice trip and great to see everyone. The first picture is my Dad and Aunt Kay. A big thank you to her for always being willing to pick us up and drop us off at the airport. We really appreciate it! :)

Bo got to meet his cousin Jaden for the first time. She is my brother John and his wife Lizz's baby. She is 8 months old in these pics and so cute!
My sister Dana and her husband Steve's 2 boys loved playing with Bo. Nick really got attached to him by the end of the week. Benny who is almost 2
is a very happy little boy. Their both adorable active toddlers that keep their Mom going all day. Dana celebrated her 40th B-day! It was great spending time with them throughout the week!

Morgan...who is 12 now, my sister Debbie and Pauls daughter, enjoyed having her big cousin Bo around too!
My Dad is doing really good as you can see by the pics. He's lost about 40 lbs. but feels great. He's off the Chemo pill for right now because his blood levels are all good. He gets tired alot but that's because he just loves being outdoors and keeping busy with his garden, yard and of course his motorcycles. :)

I always love how green everything is when we go back to Connecticut to visit in the Summer. The flowers are just beautiful and I can't say enough about my Dads vegetable garden. Onions, tomatos, corn, beets, and cucumbers are just a few of the vegetables that thrive in my Dads garden. The blackberrys were amazing too! He has always had his own bee hives. He believes this is the secret to a great garden. I think he is right! The pic of Pop, Dana and the boys is them picking flowers from the yard for us to bring to the cemetery to my moms gravesite. I know she just loved them.

It was great to get together with some of my High School and Grammar School friends! We had alot of laughs together reminiscing about old times. Andrea, Carol, Michele and Joanne...I love these girls! :)

A day at Quassy for the Milford Rider's annual motorcycle picnic. It was a perfect day. We all had a lot of fun. Pop's eating his bacon, liver, pepper & onion sandwich in that pic!

Rocky Neck State Park with Family. It was nice to catch up with everyone! The sun wasn't shining when we first got there, but it came out later on. It was a great day!
