May/June 09

May started off with Butch and Danielle's visit to FL. They got to catch up with Becky and had a great time at the Wedding...Congratulations Chris and Kelly!

Jeff was guest speaker at the Air Force ROTC Commissioning Ceremony. Here's a picture of him with the brand new 2nd Lt's...Congratulations to all of them too!

Bo was invited to a quincietta! (a girls 15th Birthday Party in the Hispanic culture) Here's a picture of him and some of his friends all dressed up ready to party!!! They actually had alot of fun. Lots of food, music and people!

Becky got Promoted to 1st Lt. on May 28th...Congratulations Becky! We are very proud of her. She will also be deployed to Afghanistan for 9 months in March 2010. She'll be going to 3 months of training prior to her deployment. Please keep her and all our brave military in your prayers.

June has just flown by...Becky came to town for a friends Wedding over Father's Day weekend. It was great to see her...we'll be visiting her in FL next month. Looking forward to that visit...

March/April 09

March came in with a bang! We got this awful hail storm here in Keller. It sounded like someone was just throwing baseballs at our roof for about 10 minutes. I ran outside after it was over and picked up some hail. We never saw such big hail before. It already had melted a bit by time I took this picture. So many roofs and cars got damaged around here. Luckily the Expedition was in the garage but the Explorer got a few dings in it. Our roof got some damage too.

Bo and I dyed a few eggs for Easter. It was a quiet one this year.

April means the bluebonnets and wildflowers are out here in TX. I went over to the town center and took some pictures of them. Their mainly scattered on the sides of the highways which look so pretty this time of the year.
I also took a few pictures of the cows in the field down the street from us. All the babies are being born and are so cute. Unfortunately, when I started taking the pictures they all got scared and ran away from me. It was funny!

Last but not least Butch was on break from Dental school and visited for a few days before he and Danielle headed to FL to see Becky and go to a friends Wedding. Always good to see them! :)

Feb. 2009

In Feb. Jill flew to CT for her Dad's 75th B-day party. It was great to see so many family members and friends show up for the party. Poppa was very surprised and happy to see everyone. It was a fun, memorable day.
