November 08

In November we flew to Connecticut to attend Jill's brother John and his bride Elizabeth's Wedding. It was a small family affair and we all enjoyed being there to share in their special day. Butch and Becky flew up too, along with Danielle Butch's girlfriend. We also got to meet Benjamin, Dana and Steve's newest arrival. He looks so much like his big brother Nikolaus when he was a baby. We enjoyed spending time with everyone over the weekend. On the way back to the airport we stopped by to visit with Jill's Aunt Kay and Uncle Pete and cousin Karen.

Later in the month Jeff's sisters Holly and Chrissy and nephew Bernie and his wife Lisa and their son Christian came to move Gram (Jeff's mom) to Tennensee after living here for 1 1/2 years. She is still in assisted living but Jeff's sisters wanted her there to spend more time with her. There is also a lot more family to visit with her there.

Towards the end of the month we went to a TCU/Air Force football game.

Sept./Oct. 08

September brought Football! Bo made the Freshman A team. He played defensive corner back and played on special teams. He had a great season but hopefully we can get a little more meat on his bones for next year. Mom was very happy their were no injuries this year. He wore #11. At the beginning of the season all the players went out for a parents night and they introduced the varsity players and other teams as a whole. Football is big down here in Texas so it pretty much kept us busy most of Sept and Oct. Bo's team ended up 2-7. The 2 they won we're against rival Keller teams so that was good. Bo played Thursday nights but we'd pretty much go out and watch the Varsity play under the Friday Night Lights. They would put up signs to cheer on the boys for games. Bo's team is Fossil Ridge High School ...home of the Panthers. Jill volunteered alot selling merchandise for the booster club too.
Jeff got a cake for his 45th B-day. A woolley's custard cake. Their soooo good!
The Thunderbirds came out to the Alliance Airport right near our house for a Airshow. We went over to watch the practice show on friday and then got to watch them from our house with out all the crowds over the weekend. Never get tired of watching them.
The new plane came in at Perigrine Point...where Jeff works now. We went over to watch it land and got to go in and ck it out. It's a really nice plane. It's a brand new 737 Boeing business jet. It can be used for passengers or cargo transportation.
Bo dressed up as a Auburn fan for Halloween this year...go war eagle!

In August we had to say good-bye to Butch. Jeff and Butch drove to Las Vegas to get him settled into an apartment and get ready for Dental School. He has an old High School friend as a roommate and is doing well. Mom made him a T-shirt quilt from some of his old shirts. We all really enjoyed having him around this past year but now it's time for a new chapter in his life.
Jeff and Jill celebrated 25 years of marraige on August 27th. Yeah, we can't believe how fast the time has gone by either. As long as we can stay healthy...we're looking forward to another 25 years! Here's Bo on his 1st day of school...a freshman in high school!
