Christmas 2009

We were blessed again this year and had all our children home for Christmas this year. Butch even brought his and Danielle's 6 month old Maltese puppy (Ozzie)! It was great meeting him and having a puppy in the house again. As you can see Chipper (blk Lab x) and Mickey are getting up there in years. Ozzie enjoyed terrorizing them...but they showed him who's boss. We really had a relaxing Christmas and even got some snow Christmas Eve! First time in 80 years there was a White Christmas here in TX. We enjoyed it!
Bo is still an Auburn fan, while Becky enjoyed her "Nook" and the new blanket Jill made for her to take to Afghanistan. Butch, on the other hand, is still a rebel and a San Francisco 49ers fan. We enjoyed the time we spent together and we hope ya'll had a wonderful Christmas too!

Oct/Nov 09

In October Becky packed up her Apartment (with alot of help from her friend Rachel) and put everything in storage for a good 14 months. She drove to TX and visit with us for a week before she went on to start her training in Oklahoma for her deployment to Afghanistan. It was great having her so close and she was able to visit on weekends too. We took in an Air Show at the Alliance Airport 10 minutes from our house one Saturday. We all just go hang out at the end of the flightline right near the hanger where Jeff works. It's an awesome spot and you don't have to deal with all the crowd. I know it's the Blue Angels instead of the T-Birds...but they put on a good show.
In November we welcomed my brother John and his wife Liz' baby girl. She is named Jaden Frances. Her middle name is after my Mom. She is just beautiful!
Becky moved onto her 3 months training to Camp Atterbury in Indiana. She was able to get a 4 day pass for Thanksgiving so we were happy to have her with us. Our friends the Wilson's came over for dessert...we had enough to feed a small Army. It was a delicious day! :)
